Doublehanded in Vineyard Race, first of three Mini 6,50.
Most importantly more people learned about the Righteous and Witolds.
Children and the Rigtheous.
Once those wonderful kids wrote names of the Righteous on the hull of Witold I guess I became their custodian.
Mini 6,5 to take part in Vineyard Race.
Witold, the Mini 650 owned by Bartosz Bilinski is the second Mini 650 to enter the Vineyard Race.

Mini 6,50 is fast, but it isn't IMOCA to ride that front out on its face. The Ulma Museum of Poles Saving Jews.
Children were given random pages with names not in alphabetical order and look - somehow Józef and Wiktoria Ulma after whom Museum of Poles saving Jews is named are here. Standing out.During the Second World War.
During the Second World War, in German occupied Poland many Poles of Christian faith helped their neighbors of Jewish faith. Assistance was offered both institutionally by the Underground State and spontaneously by individuals and families. Those who aided Jews in any way risked their lives as Poland was the only country occupied by Germans in which by their ordinance aiding a Jew subjected all members of aiding family, including children to be shot on the spot. There were tens of thousands of such Righteous.
Righteous Across.
There are about 8,000 names of Poles of different faiths saving lives of Poles of Jewish faith during German occupation. Some of their names were written on the sides of the boat named WITOLD - to honor Witold Pilecki and Jan Kozielewski, Jan Karski "Witold" - by kids from Polish Supplementary Schools in New York. Among kids was a pretty big and strong kid from Brooklyn, Adam Babyface Kownacki. All children and parents - thank you for coming!
